EGGS ARE THE PERFECT FOOD

Eggs really are the perfect food. Everything life needs is in the egg…a healthy egg from a healthy pasture raised chicken that is. Pasture raised chickens and therefore eggs, are chickens raised the way God intended. At least on my farm…and most “pasture raised chicken farms.” In other words, instead of being in hundreds of thousands of tiny cages with several other chickens, so crowded they cannot spread their wings, roost, scratch, or anything else a chicken was designed to do. Caged chickens are fed a non-natural chicken diet on a conveyer belt. Chickens can be dead in the cage for days before anyone notices. I am not making this up, do your research. I won’t go on with the ugly details, instead I will give you the GOOD NEWS!

Chickens raised out on pasture, you know on grassy fields…actual “happy hens frolicking in green fields”, these chickens lay a superior egg. Okay, it is the egg God designed, not the egg the factory farmer corrupted…and now contaminated. WATCH: World’s Best Eggs!

You have to eat three, even seven commerically factory farmed eggs to get the nutrition in just one pasture produced egg. Oh wait, pasture produced eggs…you know from “happy hens frolicking on green fields” have 1/3 less cholesterol and 1/4 less fat! Check out the research: Eggciting News!!!

Factory Farmed Eggs-No Thanks!

So you dutifully buy eggs labeled “cage free”. You have images of “happy hens frolicking in green fields”…THINK AGAIN!

Know the truth about LABELING ON EGG CARTONS. Hmmm, and we wonder why there is massive contamination of our egg supply. If this is our vision for humane ”certified cage free”. Ah, but there is more bad news, most factory farmed eggs come from chickens who are “debeaked”. Shortly after chicks are hatched a hot blade slices off part of their beak. I am not going to sensationalize with lots of yucky photos of these yucky practices. Be my guest to look them up your self.

HERE A VACCINE, THERE A VACCINE, EVERYWHERE A VACCINE!

Since chickens are raised in such inhumane conditions (remember the above photo above is a “better case scenario” than most egg production hens ever see) a multitude of vaccines are required. I am not even getting into all the medicines or antibiotics these chickens are given. I am just talking vaccines. But the time a laying Leghorn (standard egg production chicken) is 16 weeks old it has undergone 17 vaccine serums in its little chicken body.
